Olsberg produces cast iron products for a wide variety of industries from three German facilities: in the towns of Olsberg and Brilon in North Rhein Westfalia and in the town of Konigshuette in Sachsen-Anhalt. We offer a well-rounded, comprehensive list of services with all the characteristics that lead to high quality, economical solutions. These services include:
Our technology, techniques and experience position Olsberg as the industry specialist for demanding, thin-walled, core-intensive castings such as electric motor parts and housings, gearbox and pump housings as well as parts for compressors and textile machines.
Olsberg also stands out as a valuable partner in the development and casting-appropriate design of our customers’ parts and components. This constructive partnership – pun intended – opens a new realm of possibilities for the development of castings that are cost effective, come to fruition quickly and optimize your product.
In the town of the same name, Olsberg’s headquarters operation produces both series and hand-formed, core-intensive castings from iron with both flake or spheroidal graphite.
At our Brilon location, the castings that are produced at the Olsberg Works are cleaned, fettled and put in primer. After passing a thorough final inspection according to our quality assurance program, the parts are shipped to the customer.
The works in Konigshutte utilize a sophisticated production technology to produce thin-walled castings with exceptionally fine surface quality. Additionally, these parts can be surface treated and partially or completely machined according to customer need.
