Melting operation

Olsberg's melting operation includes the following:

• Fully automatic Küttner furnace charging system made up of five separate material bunkers with vibrating chutes, a coke bunker, a lime bunker and feed a conveyor with three charge compartments
• Küttner cold air cupola furnace with oxygen injection. Capacity of 7 tons per hour
• Beth cupola dust filtration
• ABB eight ton mid-frequency induction furnace for duplexing
• Scheuch dry filter mechanism
• Sixty tons ASEA receiving furnace with useable capacity of 45 tons and 700 kW inductor
