Hans Everken was Herrmann Everken's second eldest son. He joined the company after leaving the military on 12 April 1940 and remained the general manager until 1960. He then became the personally liable partner until his retirement on 30 September 1965.

Besides the already existing range of stoves and coal heaters and the production of foundry parts, the development and production of oil heaters that had already been initiated by Ferdinand BrĂ¼ning commenced. This was accompanied by investments in production, warehousing and the foundry.
